Next batch of Gimcheon Sangmu recruits announced
Pohang Steelers winger Hong Yun-sang, new Korea international centre back Byun Jun-soo, and FC Seoul starlet Kang Ju-hyeok headline the next batch of players set to begin their military service with Gimcheon Sangmu. On the morning of August 14th, the results of the third round of conscriptions for this year for the Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps were announced through the Military Manpower Administration's website. The selected individuals are scheduled to enlist on November 17th, with their discharge set for May 16th, 2027. Notable names include Gangwon FC attacker Lee Sang-heon, national team center-back Byun Jun-soo, and Pohang Steelers' attacking ace Hong Yoon-sang. One particularly noteworthy point is the large number of young players who were accepted.
